As 2025 begins to take its place in the history books, the first marks of action at our beloved Depot are already part of its story. And while it’s still early, we’re clear-eyed and hopeful about what 2026 will ask of us. Last year was about discovery—learning what must be done, what wants to be done, and, most importantly, what is truly possible. We studied, we listened, we refined. We let the building tell us its story.
The year ahead is about execution.
Execution of a plan shaped by observation, informed by history, and strengthened by data and forward-looking vision. A plan sturdy enough to carry the weight of daily life, yet flexible enough to grow alongside it. A plan with a backbone—ready to support the vibrant future that will soon unfold on this historic ground.
Before we step fully into what’s next, let’s look back—at the many lives of the Belleville Depot over the last 120 years, and the history that brought us here.
